Mike maintains a general law practice with a concentration in estate planning, wills and trusts, estate and trust administration, probate, probate avoidance, beneficiary representation, will and trust contests, and general civil litigation. Mike handles estate planning and estate and trust administration matters that range from the “simple” with relatively few assets, to complex estate planning and estate/trust administration for large and complicated estates, and everything in between. Background Information
Mike is an Iowa native, raised in Bellevue, Iowa. He graduated from Marquette High School in Bellevue, Iowa in 2003 before attending Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Mike graduated from Wartburg with summa cum laude honors in 2007, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and psychology, while also competing as a member of the Wartburg golf team. Mike earned his law degree from Drake University Law School in 2010, graduating with high honors. While at Drake, Mike was a member of the Drake Law Review, holding the position of Associate Editor.
